Prana & Spice exists to guide individuals back into relationship with their body through the wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga, and the healing power of food.

This work is rooted in the belief that the body is inherently intelligent and capable of healing when given the right support. Through education, embodied practice, and intentional living, Prana & Spice offers a path toward balance, vitality, and a deeper understanding of how to live in alignment with one’s nature.

I have been guided into this organically and authentically through my continual studies and personal experience. It is my purpose in life to share this information. To contribute and have a positive impact on the whole.

    1. The Body Holds Wisdom

The body is not something to fix — it is something to listen to.

I believe the body carries experience, memory, and intelligence. Through awareness, movement, and nourishment, we learn to understand its signals and support it in return to balance naturally. We all are aiming to not just add years to our lives but life to our years.

    2. Food as Medicine

I remember my teacher saying that food is God. It is literally creating us. Creating our tissues. Basically, what you eat today becomes who you are over time — layer by layer, tissue by tissue. It takes approximately 30–35 days for food to fully make its way through all 7 tissues. If you really think about it, food is the one thing we take in on a regular basis and sometimes up to 3 times a day. This can be great medicine and very supportive — or the opposite is also true. It can be like poison. Food for thought.

The saying “We are what we eat” — Ayurveda says we are what we digest! How well we digest our food will reflect our quality of health. Ayurveda teaches us the importance of having a good digestive fire. We learn how to keep that fire kindled and how to care for it on a daily and seasonal basis. We also consider our season in life and certain life-altering experiences that we inevitably experience.

What we eat — and how we prepare for it — has a profound impact on our well-being. It’s not just what we eat. It’s how we eat it, when we eat it, and what state of mind we are eating it in.

We honor whole foods and spices as powerful tools for healing, using them intentionally to support digestion, energy, and long-term vitality in everyday life. Consistency matters more than perfection. What you do regularly is where the magic is!

    3. Healing is Practice

Healing is not a quick fix, but an ongoing relationship with yourself. Not a one-time attempt at being healthier and making better choices — but an everyday attempt. Every day, every season we have opportunity.

Through consistent practices like yoga, breathwork, and daily ritual, we support the body in releasing, restoring, and evolving layer by layer.

    4. Live in Alignment with Nature

True health comes from living in rhythm with your body and the natural world.

By aligning with the cycles of nature and your unique constitution, you create a way of living that is sustainable, grounded, and deeply nourishing — from how you live to how you age. Even how we let go at the end.

Founder Story

My path to this work did not begin in a perfect place.

Like many, I carried experiences that took years to understand, and even longer to heal. Periods of disconnection, and turning points that changed how I moved through the world. It was through my own healing that I found my purpose.

My background began in bodywork, developing a hands-on understanding of the body. Years as an athlete, rooted in martial arts, eventually led me to yoga, and yoga led me to Ayurveda. It was during a period of significant illness that these teachings became more than study. Through consistent practice and truly listening to my body, I experienced a level of healing that changed my life, layer by layer. The body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support.

I'm still learning. I'm still healing. And it's that ongoing nature of the path that lets me meet others with honesty and depth. This work isn't about having all the answers, it's about guiding you back to yourself. To witness that in someone else is the greatest honor I know.
